Theme Installation
Method 1: Install a Theme via Direct Upload
To get started, log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Navigate to Appearance > Themes.
- On the Themes page, locate and click the Add New button to begin adding a new theme.
- After clicking Upload, choose your
st-nxtgen.zip
file and then click Install Now to proceed with the installation.
- Complete the installation and activate your theme.
Method 2: Install by Searching for a Theme
- Navigate to Appearance > Themes.
- On the Themes page, locate and click the Add New button to begin adding a new theme.
- In the search bar, type "ST Nxtgen" to find the theme. Once it appears, click Install, and then click Activate to make it your active theme.
Plugin Installation
- Select Get Started with ST Demo Importer to initiate the plugin installation.
Demo Import
You will be redirected to the demo import page, where you will be able to import the demo content. This process will swiftly set up your site with the pre-configured design and functionality, saving you the time and effort of manual setup. Additionally, you can review the theme’s basic requirements and explore the differences between the free and premium versions of the theme to make an informed decision about which option best suits your needs.
- Click on the Start Now button to begin the first step of the demo import process.
- Install the required plugins by clicking the Install Plugins button.
- Now click on the Import Demo button to proceed with importing the demo content.
- The demo import will take a few minutes. Once the process is complete, you can view the imported demo content on the front page or by clicking Finish to continue with any additional setup.
- After the demo import is complete, you can check your site to see the imported content and ensure everything is set up as expected.
Theme Customization
Theme customization includes several key aspects, such as setting up the header menu and customizing various sections of your site. This involves configuring the navigation menu to ensure it aligns with your site's design and functionality needs, as well as adjusting the layout, appearance, and content of different sections to match your branding and user experience goals.
- Navigate to Appearance > Menus.
- Select the pages you want to include in the menu by checking the appropriate boxes. After adding them, you can arrange the menu items by dragging and dropping them into the desired order.
- Choose the main menu location by selecting the appropriate checkbox for your theme’s main menu area from the options provided below.
Next, set up your header and footer using Elementor to customize your site's appearance.
- Navigate to your site’s frontend, and hover over the header or footer area. Click on the Edit with Elementor button that appears.
- In the Elementor editor, customize the header or footer by adding or adjusting elements such as logos, navigation menus, and other content blocks.
- Use the drag-and-drop functionality to arrange your content, and customize settings like colors, fonts, and spacing to match your branding.
- Click Update to save your changes and apply them to your site’s header or footer.
After adding the logo and setting up the menu, visit your site to review the changes and ensure everything appears as expected.
Now, customize the sections of your site. Below is the navigator or structure panel within the Elementor editor, which allows you to view the widget hierarchy. From here, you can select and edit widgets as needed. To access the navigator or structure panel, right-click within the editor and choose the appropriate option. Below are images showing the sections that are included with the theme.
